The exhibition presents the history of astronomy on 400 square meters from the very beginning to the present day. We can see how telescopes and astronomical navigation have evolved, get acquainted with the world of meteorites, and get a glimpse into the work of Galileo and Newton. The exhibition showcases some of the most exciting space expeditions, such as the moon landing, Apollo programs or Mars exploration, and you can take a close-up look at a real scaffold, pilot’s seat, and Mars spacecraft.
Pannon Observatory is the first and so far only Ultra HD digital planetarium in Central Europe. The films projected on the dome with a diameter of 8 meters can be enjoyed from an IMAX, tilted backrest cinema chair. The observatory has a scientifically demanding telescope park that ensures that those interested can take a closer look at the sky.
A Pannon Csillagda az első és eddig egyetlen Ultra HD felbontású digitális planetárium Közép-Európában. A 8 méter átmérőjű kupolára vetített filmeket IMAX, döntött háttámlás moziszékből élvezhetjük. Az obszervatóriumban tudományos igényű távcsőpark gondoskodik arról, hogy az érdeklődők közelebbről szemügyre vehessék az égboltot.
